Our first days in Bariloche area of Argentina, we went to a small town of Villa La Angostura. Smack in the middle of the Argentinian Lake District, the views were some of the most breathtaking.
As my travel partner said, disgustingly beautiful.

Evaluate the Photo #1: Milford Sound
I realized this has become more photo blog than anything else. And that many of you are fellow photographers.
For the longest time, I resisted called myself a photographer. I don’t have skill and dedication. I just happen to wield a camera more often than not. But when my harddrive of photo archive was stolen, I was emotionally devastated. I found myself bereft. That’s when I realized just how emotionally attached to my photography I am.
So as I start labeling myself as someone who is serious about my photos.. I want to start soliciting feedback. On anything. Composition. Technique. Perception. Interpretation. Please don’t hold back.
This photo was taken at Milford Sound, South Island. New Zealand. Any thoughts? I personally found it too busy but am please how clear the sun came out.
It’s all great until…
I don’t think there are many things that better than the sound of waves crashing on a pebbled beach…
… unless your bladder is begging to be relieved and there isn’t a loo in sight.

Remember this little kid?
Ahh. So thirsty..
We were standing off the side in an unofficial no-fire zone, behind a food stall. This kid’s mom ran the the stall. Bored, and likely wanting to join in the spirit of playing with water, he started cupping water out of the water replenish barrel, dumping on (and mostly missing) his head. As we watched him, he processed in his mind that he was thirsty and started tilting his head back even more, with his mouth open.
Mom sees that and shrieks. Ahhhh!!! Don’t drink the water, silly pants!!
She hustles around to serve another customer. Kid keeps drinking. As he stopped just to play with the water, his sister (probably just three years older) comes by to play with him. She looks in the barrel, sticks her arms in. Her arm comes back out, with a little one-inch fish in her hand. Dead or alive, I don’t know.
From that point on, I was sure to keep my mouth closed as I got drenched.
