South West Coast Path

I have a new life goal (as of early December 2011). To walk all over the 630 miles of England’s South West Coast Path. The trail is UK’s longest National Trail and hugs the southwestern coasts of England, between Minehead, Somerset, through Devon and Cornwall, to Poole Harbor, Dorset.

I dislike carrying heavy loads, so I am not going to backpack and camp the route in its entirety. Instead, I will hike it the way I do best. In circular day walks covering mostly the trail and going back to sleep comfortably in the B&B or hotel in the evenings.

Come back to this page in a while whilst I figure out how to load a map showing my progress on the site.
